Updates

Ok, so I have realized that a LOT has changed over the past few weeks and I have not had the chance to fill you in...

Yes, I am now the Ministries Coordinator and Admin for White Fields Community Church! This is really exciting, but challenging at the same time, so please be praying.

My last day at Terroir was this past Friday (~J~ I know you will be praising God for this ;-). It was bittersweet, but I was at peace when leaving as my dicision was confirmed over and over throughout my last night.

We started a college ministry called Armored that Ivan is leading. Yesterday was our 3rd week and God was great in meeting us there. The worship, teaching and discussion were awesome and 3 people came for a total of 7 including me, Ivan and the couple that hosts.

We are moving into my mom's house when our lease is up here at our apartment. My mom will be staying with us the last two weeks of Sept and will help us get the house ready and settle in. We will have plenty of yard for the boys to play in and a real playroom, which has been in our living room for the past 11 months.

All of these changes along with other things coming up have really seemed to put a lot of stress on me. Praise the Lord that I can turn to Him when I feel overwhelmed and it all seems to go away.

I hope to post more pictures and videos asap! In the meantime, you can imagine a moment yesterday morning as Ivan and I were doing our Saturday morning thing on the floor with the boys. We were petting Bella, tickling, and playing when all of a sudden Ivan started freaking out. He jumped up from the floor and leaped into the kitchen where Jeremiah was bouncing around innocently with a butcher knife in his hand. As I write this, Ivan is installing magnetic locks on all tke kitchen drawers.

I am using the church computer now and don't want to download pics or videos on it, so I'm not sure how long it will be until I am able to post new stuff. This is a Mac and I am still trying to get used to it.

Coloring Time!

The boys are finally at an age where crafts are so much fun. This is their first time coloring with crayons and they did great until they started eating them.

Mason and Jeremiah love going to the pool. They only last about an hour though before they start falling asleep in their floaties.

Meet Asher

Our new friends, Brianna and Jeremiah have a son who is almost 4 months old. He has the biggest smile and the sweetest coos.















Bri is our new babysitter so Mason and Jeremiah get to spend a lot of time with Asher. They say, "Baby, baby, baby" and point to him and try to pick his nose and stuff. It's SO cute how much they love him!

Last Saturday we got fresh Hazeldel Mushrooms, Haystack Goat Cheese, and a bottle of yummy red wine. We love meals like this!!

A Scary Trip to Super WalMart

So, Jeremiah climbed out of the cart today at WalMart and fell onto the concrete floor landing flat on his back. I was so scared that I had no clue what to do and everyone was looking to me to make the best decisions for my son. The final call was to the paramedics to make sure Jeremiah did not have a concussion or something. The firetruck and ambulance arrived and we were greeted by like 8 paramedics who all agreed that Jeremiah would be ok without a trip to the hospital. Thank God!!!! Praise the Lord for my little guys who were so brave today.

My Heart Breaks

Mason and Jeremiah are biting each other every time I turn around. They fight all day long and the last 2 days have been going after one another with open mouths that cause the worst welts and bruises you have ever seen. They are also pulling hair...should I just cut it off??? I don't know how to discipline biting or fighting, if it's even possible at this age. It breaks my heart that they hurt each other so bad and I don't know what to do.

Rockies Game

June 7, 2008: We finally got a day to ourselves (thanks to Nana and Stephanie) so we decided to spend the afternoon in Denver and catch a Rockies game. It was SO much fun!! We need to get out more often!
